Since we had such a fall off of volunteers last year we have had to come up with new band fees, and raise the band fees as well. This years band fees will be $150.00 per student however this will require you to participate in either 2 large fundraisers or 1 large fund raiser and 2 small ones. But I know that time is valuable to all of us so we are offering an alternative to all these fundraisers as well. If you are unable to do any fundraising you can write a check for the full amount of what it actually costs to have each student in band. That amount this year is $440.00 per student. We will give the option to pay that amount and you do not have to do any fundraising this year unless you want to join us. Now what do we consider large fundraisers. Large fundraisers are fundraisers that we typically need a lot of help to pull off, but bring in a large amount of money to the band. They are the Fall invitational, Light-up Corydon, the winter invitational. These are our large events that bring in the most money. Everything else is considered small fundraisers. |
